This monster was painted on the inside wall of a neglected building on an intersection just as you enter Bildudalur. While I was there in June, arctic terns were nesting on the beach nearby. I was chielded from their vicious and elegant swooping attacks by the the building's exposed metal support beams running across the open roof.
