TANJA GEIS

work / about / contact / links

My work has always been concerned with the texture of relationships and connections between people, and between people and the non-human environment. I am currently experimenting with practices, techniques and spaces of creative engagement that might begin to transform and re-enchant our perception of the world and our role within it.

I was born and raised a half-German and half-Chinese city girl in Hong Kong. I have spent several years on the east coast of America studying and working in the arts, and recently aquired a Masters degree in resource management in rural Iceland. My current home is a canvas wall tent and shepherd's hut in the English countryside.
